To promote Yorkshire Tea’s partnership with the England cricket board we created a campaign showing the importance of stopping for the cricket tea. The campaign consisting of a series of TVC’s, billboards and print.

Directed by Sam Washington and all shot in camera. Given the brand, we wanted a down to earth, homemade feel. Even the planes flying above the tea cup were done for real. And yes, we were lucky enough to fly in one of them! We had a lot of fun designing the inflatable tea pot, tea themed costumes and instruments.

Russell Crowe tweeted this ad ‘put a huge smile on his face’.

YT - Mini Series

The Great Cricket Tea Challenge.

Alongside the TV ad we made a mini TV series. The 6 episodes ran in ad breaks. Teams had to compete against each other to make the best cricket tea with Michael Vaughan and Rosemary Shrager as the judges.
